t's that time again, kiddies! SeaCompressionSix swings into Sand
Point Hangar 30 on Saturday, November 10th! (Naysayers, we made
this reservation last year!) As with last year, we've got a 20,000 sq. ft
blank slate and an entire weekend for load-in and tear down.

Annnd as usual, SeaCompression needs YOU! This is the whole
community's event, and it takes all of us to put it on. The first way to
get involved is join the conversation on seavent by emailing
seavent-subscribe&yahoogroups.com. My personal request: no
flames or whining on seavent. Criticism is welcome... so long as
you're prepared to back it up with solutions and/or volunteerism.
Numerous team leads need to be filled: Bar, Ranger, Volunteer,
Sounds/Performance, DPW, Fire, Production, Decor, Art, Door,
Theme Camps, Beds (for visitors), PR, Food, Lighting/Electric,
and Propaganda. To volunteer as a team lead, please email me
at seacomp.production@gmail.com.
And of course there will be tons of errands and chores to do during
the weekend of the event. To volunteer, please email
seacomp.volunteer@gmail.com, with your full name, your area of interest,
and your special skills.
The first Seacompression public meeting will be held at:
7pm on Tuesday, September 18th
CHAC Lower Level, 1621 12th Ave
Regular weekly meetings will follow, alternating between public
meetings and team leads-only.
